I just have to say a big THANK YOU!! to Teresa for a great night in Seattle! I had a wonderful time! Can't wait to do it again. Teresa called Thursday night to see if I could get away Friday afternoon to drive up to Seattle with her to go to the Sea Hawks game. She had been given 4 tickets. So thankfully Brandon was okay with watching the kids so I called her back and we were just as excited as could be. Stan , Teresa's Husband got us a fabulous hotel. A night sleeping with no kids! Yeah!! I couldn't wait. We were off, we left out of town a little later than planned but not to worried. We had the necessities. Chocolate, soda and Good music and company! When arriving downtown to park, we had a nice surprise! We first saw a sign for $40 parking. We giggled and said" That must be for a week " Then as we drove on we saw $50 dollar parking etc. After driving a while and realizing it wasn't a joke! It was for real!! We thought to our selves, well the game is free, the hotel is free...we can swing $20 dollars each for parking. So we did it! We laughed about it the entire time. As we were walking to the stadium we decided we better be brave since both Teresa and I are the out spoken type (not!!) we thought we better scalp the 2 extra tickets we had to get our parking money back! What a great idea! We were on an adventure. We first saw a guy with a sign "buy and sale tickets" So Teresa turned on the charm and the guy offered us $20 dollars for our amazing "CLUB level seats" So being the hard ball Teresa is :) She didn't back down. No way were we giving in. We walked closer to the stadium. Where I spotted a cute young couple headed for some tickets. I thought they were the ones. Both Teresa and I were to nervous to ask them. So we went on. But we saw the Boyfriend approach a scalper and we quickly flagged over the girlfriend to come talk to us! Yeah!! It worked! We sold both the two extra tickets for our parking money! $40 dollars! We were on a huge natural high. Of course we asked to take a picture with them. Good thing they were a nice couple since they sat by us during the game! :) . We were pretty proud of ourselves we braved the scalping experience!! Headed into the game to meet up with some scary women at the end of our row who about wanted to beat me up when I said " excuse me please" apparently at a NFL game, one rule I learned. " Do not walk in front of anyone until a play is completely over!! They made there rude comments of how we couldn't wait 5 seconds. Teresa and I were scared! Wondering if we should warn the nice couple we sold the tickets to. :) The game was amazing! We decided we better become Sea Hawks fans and pick up the sport of loving NFL football! It was a blast. After the game we headed for Cheesecake factory for some yummy fried macaroni and cheesecake! Delicious! Then back to the hotel. Now you would think we would stay up all night and chat! No way! We watched a little late night TV. Changed into our PJ's and we just couldn't wait to have a night with no kids to wake us up! So we took our Tylenol Pm's hee hee! And we were crashed out hard! We slept for 11 hours! Record sleep for both of us! It was great!!!! Can't wait to do it again! Thanks Teresa, Stan and Brandon!! Love ya 'll
