Snow Days...Snow Days...and More Snow Days!! Thompson family had not seen this much snow since the blizzard living in Denver Colorado 2001!! After moving from Texas this was just more than exciting for this family! Hailey and Rylan got the first taste of snow last year, but it was really more like rain mixed with a little snow, nothing for what came this year!! The first of it fell and boy were they ready to make snow balls and pray for school to be canceled!! Ha Ha..this town thought it should shut down!! The big Artic Blast of "08" was coming to Vancouver Washington!! Go get your groceries and buy your wood for the fires!! It was pretty cute! Kids were bouncing off the walls! Then finally after days of talk....the real snow came! We had about 14 inches at the house and the kids had a ball!! Of course we were not prepared with our snow suits :) ha ha! And I was not going to buy all new snow clothes just for one season , but we did buy gloves and of course the neccesities....sleds!! It was a great time!! We will always remember it!! And yes...this is the first we have experienced church being canceled for a snow day!! :) Check out the ice Hailey has in her hands!! Those were all over the back yard, under the snow, the kids would go to make a snow man and that is what they would pick up!! Lots of ice!! We have enjoyed the snow days!

Yay! Your back! Now the kids are back in school and life is getting slowly back to normal....we need to go to lunch!
I love all your pictures and I think next year we are going to have to go cut down our Christmas tree too! Love you girl!
Wow that makes me cold just looking at those pictures. Looks like fun though. You have a great hill to sled on, how nice that you could do all that right in your own front yard. Miss you!
