This really cold and rainy Oct day.. Brandon called and asked if Rylan and I would meet him in Multnomah at the Falls for Lunch. He wanted us to come up and see him. Brandon has been working in the Gorge for quite a long time, so it has been a long time since we met for lunch. Ry ry had been sick for a few days with a really high temp. , and just not feeling to well. But we decided to just take the drive and go say hi. I thought we would just eat in the car and visit. When we showed up, Ry was so excited to see the water, he wanted to go "see it". He felt horrible, so it was a very short visit. We got him some soup and hot chocolate. He never touched his soup, and only sipped on his hot chocolate. But we took a little walk up to the falls and he was happy for a few minutes. He got to see his dad, kick some leaves. And one of his favorite things to do was watch the train that would go by! He loved that. As soon as we got in the car, he fell asleep and slept the rest of the day. But he is still talking about the water and the train! He loved that train. It was nice to just take a drive through the gorge and see the really pretty fall colors and enjoy the beauty! Even if it was cold and misty outside. It is always fun to take a drive and see the beauty of the Northwest! I love it!
